Biography

Dr. Ali Ahmed completed his degree in Computer Engineering at Karary University, Khartoum, Sudan (1996 - 2001). He received his Master degree in Computer Science from University of Khartou,, Sudan (2001 - 2003). He pursued his PhD in Computer Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai, Malaysia (2010 - 2013). Immediately after PhD, he joined as a researcher at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) under post-Doctoral Fellowship for one year contract.

Courses

He has taught both undergraduate and post graduate level in the subjects related to Artificial Intelligence, Programming, Classification & Cluster Analysis and Fundamental of Image Processing.

Research Area

His research interests includes Data mining, Soft Computing and Information Retrieval, Cheminformatics & virtual screening, Digital Image Processing and Clustering & classification Analysis of Biological & Medical Images & data.
