Al-Mashreq University was exposed to a fire on the southern side of the building, which consumed the exterior part of the buildings. The university administration regrets what happened to the university and has been monitoring all university possessions since the first day of the fire, despite the difficulty The conditions and reassure all its students and their families that the laboratories, halls and basic university possessions have not been damaged, thank God. The university has also, since its establishment, relied on electronic archiving systems and electronic preservation systems that document all official documents of the examination system, results and students’ academic and non-academic files on servers inside and outside Sudan Cloud backup The university employs automation across all its systems, from student entry via electronic portals, to attendance and absence systems, and the storage and announcement of exam results. The university has also made preparations for the move to new buildings, which have been modernized to keep pace with the advanced educational process.
God willing, your university will return stronger, as it was a stronghold of education, a center of knowledge, and a source of community service. It will contribute, God willing, to the rehabilitation and renaissance of Sudan. We ask God to protect Sudan and its people and to spare them from strife, both apparent and hidden.
